Caregivers Talking
Every other Wednesday via Zoom, 8-9:15 pm BTS/GMT
A virtual group space for caregivers
Join virtually to discuss the highs, lows, and particularities of being a parent or caregiver. This is a facilitated and ongoing opportunity connect with others who look after children ages 0-5.
We will open each week with a short meditation to help us find a grounded and reflective space. We will then shift into a time of reflection, and each participant will have the opportunity to share their wins or challenges, what they’re wondering about, or even their half-formed thoughts. Each session will end with a poem to inspire us until we next meet.
With a focus on Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach—authenticity, attuned and respectful caregiving, and connection—we’ll tap into the wisdom of the group, and give voice to what you’re experiencing. Come as you are, and we’ll meet you there.
We meet every other Wednesday via Zoom, 8-9:15 pm BTS/GMT on the following dates:
15 July
29 July
12 August
26 August
9 September
Our process:
Opening meditation
Together, we will ground and come into a reflective space.
Discussion
We shift into a space of reflection. You are welcome to share or simply listen.
Intention setting
Based on our conversation, we will tap into the wisdom of the group as and set intentions grounded in relationship-based and respectful caregiving, and connection to one’s self.
End with a poem
This final poem will inspire us to see our role of caregivers with curiosity and heart.
